Now in case you have reversed all the faces, you may still end up with your materials added on the back faces - and now only some white colours displayed outside. The only "drawback" of this plugin is that it also respects hidden and softened edges so for a whole cylinder, you have to go through all the facets (but of course, this is how it is supposed to work). By default, the face fronts are white and face backs are dark gray. This is a very good and quick way to correctly orient all faces IF - as Karina says - your model is not too complex. To check that the face fronts point outward in SketchUp, select View > Face Style > Monochrome to see whether the back sides of a any faces point outward.
